Ready Resources are the Backbone of our Industry
Summit Scaffolding Hamilton Waikato, is focused on expanding our ability to offer services reaching a wide geographical area. Backing us with that goal is our fleet of 60 working vehicles enabling us to reach clients north and south and service them to the utmost of our ability. We want to give our clients the most appropriate options for scaffolding in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Summit Scaffolding’s Waikato branch assists our goal to serve our ever-expanding client base the best way we can.
But we couldn’t do it without access to a solid supply of excellent resources. Our valuable stock, staff, materials and assets all contribute to the viability of our company which in turn gives customers complete faith in our workmanship.
Our systems underpin our focus on amassing only top-quality resources and to that end, we use four main brands of scaffold:
- Tube and fitting scaffold
- Kwikstage scaffolding
- K Guard Edge Protection https://kguard.co.uk/ (Concrete frame edge protection, steel frame edge protection, debris guard barriers, structural steelwork protection, and safety walkways)
- vertemax.com/products/catchfan/ (Containment system against falling objects).
Summit Scaffolding Hamilton Waikato also provides a working platform width of 1 metre (1000mm); standard usage is 750mm which in our experience is inadequate for work access, the storing of material, and of course, safety.
Crossing T’s and dotting I’s around that all-important safety issue is an intrinsic aspect of our work practice. Our employees and the surrounding environment require a high level of safety logistically, practically, and legally, and is the best reassurance we can offer our clients.
With this mandate as company policy, Summit Scaffolding Waikato uses products and procedures which exceed the guideline requirements in safety and efficiency. We encourage our personnel to achieve standards higher than the ‘Good Practice Guidelines for Scaffolding in New Zealand’ -benchmark objectives that set Summit streets ahead of the competition.
Our policy is to give opportunities which provide the required resources for operators to gain Certificates of Competence for Scaffolding in New Zealand. All Summit scaffolders have current Site Safe cards and the Working at Height unit standard 23229 as a minimum.
Training our workers beyond basic levels of capability ensures a positive working relationship with clients, supported by our management team who are fully focused on delivering clear communications in the office, onsite, and with customers.
Our resource portfolio also includes a current stock level valued at $25,000,000.00 with the ratio being 55% Kwikstage 35% Tube and fitting and 10% Lahyer
